From the moment your child steps onto the sand, they’ll be welcomed by our friendly, ISA-approved surf coaches and staff. Once checked in using your online booking voucher, the adventure begins!

Our camp runs Monday to Friday, with something special planned every day. As the week unfolds, friendships grow, skills improve, and confidence soars.

To celebrate their achievements, we finish with:

• A Friday prize-giving ceremony, where every surfer receives a well-earned award

• A visit to the famous Tickety-moo Ice Cream Shop, for delicious ice cream or a cosy hot chocolate — Irish weather dependent! 😄

 

What Will They Learn?

Whether it’s their very first time on a board or they’re returning surfers, our camp offers a brilliant introduction (or re-entry) to surfing.

They’ll learn:

• Beach awareness and essential sea safety

• How to paddle efficiently

• The best techniques for standing up

• How to control speed and balance

More experienced surfers won’t be left behind — our coaches adapt sessions to include:

• Turning techniques

• Board control

• More advanced manoeuvres and tricks

Above all else, our focus is always fun, confidence, and enjoying the waves.

How Long Is Each Session?

Each daily camp session lasts approximately 2 hours, including:

• Equipment fitting

• Warm-ups and beach instruction

• Around 1.5 hours in the water, depending on conditions

We carefully divide groups by ability once in the water, ensuring every child gets maximum coaching and attention.

What Do They Need to Bring?

Nice and easy — we’ve got most of it covered!

Please bring:

• Your online booking receipt or voucher

• A towel

• Swimwear (wear it under clothes if possible)

• A positive attitude and a big smile!

We provide all surf equipment. Children are welcome to bring their own wetsuit if they prefer.

Please arrive At or just before your booked time so we can get everyone checked in and ready to surf.
