James our instructor was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I have had many surf instructors teach the basics of surfing but James was able to teach me new skills that made it possible for me to be able to surf with greater success. He also taught us as we were in the water giving us feedback as to what was working and what would make us better. He was really positive encouraging us with each attempt. Board selection is good suiting those who may be big or tall or small and slender. Great experience can’t wait to go back again.

Group Booking FAQ

Whether you're planning a corporate retreat, celebrating with friends, or creating family memories, we have the perfect surf experience for your group.

What's the minimum group size for group rates?

Group rates start from 8 people. For groups smaller than 8, our regular lesson rates apply, but you can s our best to keep your group together during the ltill book together and we'll doesson.

How far in advance should we book?

We recommend booking at least 2-3 weeks in advance, especially during peak season (June-September) and for larger groups. However, we can sometimes accommodate last-minute bookings subject to availability.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Safety is our priority. If conditions are unsafe, we'll work with you to reschedule to another date. We monitor conditions closely and will contact you in advance if we need to make changes.

Can you cater for different ability levels in one group?

Absolutely! We're experienced in managing mixed-ability groups. We can split larger groups into different skill levels or provide differentiated instruction within the same session. Just let us know the range of abilities when booking.

Do you provide catering for group events?

We can arrange catering through our local partners for groups of 15+ people. Options include packed lunches, BBQs, and post-surf refreshments. We'll discuss catering options when you make your booking inquiry.

What's included in the group packages?

All group packages include surfboards, wetsuits, professional instruction, safety briefing, and group photos.
