The Aloha - Classic Beginners Surf Lesson - Rossnowlagh Beach

Join our famous Aloha Surf Lesson on Rossnowlagh Beach - This surf session lasts 2 hours in total and is open to anyone aged 8 and above. It is a group beginner surf lesson, providing a brilliant introduction or refresher allowing you to enjoy the epic experience of surfing your first waves.

You will arrive at our base on Rossnowlagh Beach, where you will be greeted by our friendly and professional ISA-approved surf coaches and qualified beach lifeguards. They will fit you with high-quality surfing equipment, including a surfboard and wetsuit (plus any additional warm gear you may need, depending on the season). All coaching and equipment are included in the price of the surf lesson.

You will meet up to seven other surfers under the experienced eyes of your ISA surf coach and learn the basics of surfing and ocean safety before a quick stretch and team warm-up. Then, you’ll be ready to hit the waves for up to 1.5 hours under the direction and guidance of one of our amazing surf coaches.

We are based on the sand at Rossnowlagh Beach, so there’s no need for buses or long walks - Arrive at our base and take just a few steps into the ocean. It couldn't be any simpler - Book your lesson with us today!

What Will I Learn...
The Aloha lesson is a brilliant introduction or re-entry into surfing. You will be taught about Rossnowlagh beach and some local and basic sea safety, along side the basic and foundational surfing techniques such as how to paddle efficiently, the best techniques to stand up on the surfboard, and how to speed up and slow down. How fast you perfect these techniques will depend on your ability and effort you put into the lesson, but our main focus is always having fun, and enjoying the waves. If your a pro straight away and tick these off all these skills, don't worry, our attentive coaches will talk you through some more difficult techniques such as turning the board - You will enjoy the Aloha Lesson experience in a fun group where you will learn together with up to 7 other surfers.

How long will it take...
Total experience lasts around 2 hours,  this will include equipment fitting and our warm up, but we usually aim to give you around 1.5 on the waves...

What do I need to bring ...
All you need to bring is you’re surfing ticket receipt if you have booked online, your A-game, a towel, a swimsuit, and a smile- We supply all the rest! Feel free to wear your own wet-suit if that is your preference.
